Foot Pain
Foot pain can be debilitating and depressing. Acupuncture may help in treating and relieving foot pain of all kinds.
Plantar fascia pain can usually be traced to calf issues, and needling acupuncture points and trigger points may help.
Many foot issues have their source in the calves and anterior leg muscles. Hip and back problems can also contribute to foot pain.

Shoulder Pain and Rotator Cuff Injuries
Acupuncture may help in resolving these issues quickly.
The most common cause are rotator cuff injuries. These muscles act as stabilisers for the highly mobile shoulder ball and socket joint.
These muscles and tendons become easily strained and inflamed.
Bursitis is an inflammation of the bursa of the shoulder, especially the one at the top of the joint. It is common and debilitating. Raising your arm above your head is super painful.
Acupuncture and liniment may help reduce inflammation fast.
Frozen Shoulder is a tightening of the joint capsule that results in painful movement, or an inability to move at all.
Targeted acupuncture and exercises may help a speedy recovery.
Acupuncture for Your Neck
Neck pain is a common complaint. It can be caused by muscle strain, nerve problems or structural imbalances.
Tight muscles in the back and shoulder can lead to tight neck muscles, which may cause pain.
Stress can also trigger these issues.
Whiplash is a common cause of chronic neck pain due to long term scar tissue.
Acupuncture and massage used together may reduce neck pain.
Acupuncture frees up the blocked areas of the neck, allowing free movement and substantial relief.
Arthritic conditions of the neck can also be assessed.

Arthritis and Cartilage Knee Pain
Knee Replacement- Many people are now facing the prospect of knee replacement surgery as they get older.
This may be a full or partial replacement. Either way, your surgeon has probably spoken to you about the optimal time frame for the operation.
This is important, as surgeons will generally wait until the knee is no longer functioning well and is quite painful.
As replacement knees do wear out, surgeons may also wait until you are a certain age, so that you do not require multiple replacements across the rest of your life.
Laser acupuncture, along with electro-acupuncture are the choice of many people who suffer with arthritic and cartilage pain.
If you have decided to have replacement surgery, but are waiting until you have been given the go ahead, then acupuncture may help to reduce your pain in the interim and improve your quality of life.
If you do not want surgery, or wish to delay it, then acupuncture and laser is a treatment option for ongoing comfort and flexibility.
My treatments will also help you strengthen the surrounding leg muscles, so that your recovery will be much easier and faster.
The knee relies on strong musculature to make sure it is stable, fully functional and pain free.
Acupuncture helps to improve blood flow to the knee, which aids in injury recovery.
Other Knee Issues- I also treat acute cartilage damage, jarred and twisted knees, weakness in the knees, patella tracking issues and ligament problems.
Electro-acupuncture and laser acupuncture can be used for pretty much every knee condition, including swollen knees and ankles due to fluid retention.

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Wrist pain can usually have two elements, firstly there is
the localised inflammation and pain which may have any number of causes. Common
causes include trauma by a direct impact and overuse injuries which can be
traced to muscles in the forearm.
Flexor and extensor muscles of the forearm can develop
trigger points through overuse or day to day activities. Releasing the knots
and trigger points in these muscles usually fixes many common wrist complaints.
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome involves the tightening of the sheath
around one of these muscle’s tendons. The resulting friction causes
inflammation and pain in the carpal tunnel of the wrist. Again, releasing
trigger points in the forearm as well as relaxing the tendon sheath can be very effective in reducing and clearing carpal tunnel syndrome.
Acupuncture and massage are fantastic non-surgical ways of
addressing many wrist problems.
The image shows some common forearm trigger points that can massage to help reduce wrist pain.
